Phone System Implementation and Cutover Services

Yorktel uses a multi-phrased approach for Microsoft Teams Phone System projects. This process helps our Engineers understand the customer’s existing infrastructure and usage requirements for the new Phone System before making recommendations on the solution design. Our resources then work with your team to complete a detailed design based on the defined requirements while also creating custom communications, training materials, user acceptance testing documents, and migration strategies and schedules.

As the solution design is approved, Yorktel works directly with the dedicated Customer IT Resources to configure Microsoft Teams Phone System and PSTN connectivity, with active test accounts validating the changes prior to the migration of users and services.

During the migration to Microsoft Teams Phone System, Yorktel aligns your user communications with the services cutover based on the agreed-upon migration strategy and schedule. Our YorkForce team provides onsite services for migrations including site surveys, hardware installations, and onsite escalation support to our customers around the world.

From Envisioning through to the Migration, Yorktel’s Educators work with our customers to understand their training and communication requirements for the delivery of this project. During the Planning and Design Phase, an Adoption and Change Management Workshop can facilitate both Yorktel and the customer’s understanding of user requirements for training and communications for the rollout of the new solution. Yorktel customizes the training based on your user requirements and can augment standard presentation training with printable material or videos. Our Educators come with a formal teaching background, making them ideal for assisting in the driving of user adoption.




Phone System Integrations and Interoperability

Yorktel’s globally deployed, Azure-hosted SBCs have the capability to provide our customers with the benefits of Operator Connect while also overcoming the current limitations. Yorktel’s additional services provide solutions for integrations with legacy phone systems, and interoperability with legacy analog systems including paging. These same services can provide PSTN connectivity for POS, Alarm Systems and Fax machines.
