Alongside our ongoing support of various non-profit organizations, we also take our Environmental Sustainability responsibilities very seriously too. Read more about our Roadmap to Net Zero.
ALS
Yorktel is proud to support The ALS Association by participating in their annual Walk To Defeat ALS. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. Yorktel walks on behalf of our beloved Lilly Wang and all those who can no longer walk for themselves. With the help of our family and friends, we have raised over $100,000 for The ALS Association!
Often in life, we find that from great loss comes great strength and opportunity. On May 31, 2014, Yorktel lost a very dear family member, Lilly Wang, to ALS. Universally recognized and loved as the “Mother of Yorktel”, Lilly was a role model, mentor, and loving individual her entire life. She always put everyone else’s needs before her own.
We miss you terribly, Lilly. But your memory, loving spirit and generosity live on.

Fish 4 a Cure
For over ten years, Yorktel has joined Fish For a Cure and the Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation in raising money to help make the lives of cancer patients easier. We’re humbled by our donors, reaching $50,000 during our 2022 sponsorship, taking our total raised for Fish For a Cure to over $200,000.
This 501(c)(3) non-profit group raises money that supports Cancer Survivorship by working to make the lives of cancer patients easier. Specifically, F4AC supports the Nurse Navigation, Nutrition and the Psycho-Oncology/Financial Toxicity programs.
The organization is collectively making a difference in the lives of these patients as they battle this terrible and unrelenting disease.
Special Olympics
We couldn’t be happier to sponsor The Special Olympics Florida Invitation at Walt Disney World again – an event that has raised over $1.2 million!
The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
Save the Children
Our UK team once again took part in Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day. The event raises money for children in the UK and across the world. Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond!) put on a festive outfit at their workplace, school or with friends and make a donation to help give children the magical future they deserve.

One Simple Wish
Every year nearly 500,000 children are impacted by abuse, neglect and trauma and spend time in our nation’s foster care system. It can be lonely, confusing and a bit scary. Through our innovative wish-granting platform, you can send some love to a child who needs it. When wishes come true, kids not only have a chance to just be kids, but they can also make important connections, experience new things and find their passion!
