It’s exciting to think about what’s in store for unified communications in 2014. For starters, multiple research firms are predicting big growth for this technology. Transparency Market Research predicts the global UC market will reach $16 billion by next year and TechNaviopredicts nearly 16% growth rate between 2012 and 2016.
If I had to summarize in three words why I believe these predictions are accurate, I’d have to say, “Cloud,” “WebRTC”, and “UCaaS.”
