One of the first to unify the power of Cisco Voice with Microsoft Teams collaboration

public sector, education and healthcare customers worldwide, is one of the first to successfully integrate Cisco Call Manager and Microsoft Teams through Cisco’s Unified Border Element (CUBE) to offer an integrated communications experience.
This inaugural integration is for a leading medical provider on the West Coast and accommodates more than 11,000 users. The offering has aligned communications across the provider’s conference rooms, room systems, Microsoft Teams, Surface Hubs, and work-from-home mobile and desktop user needs. Particularly in this time of COVID-19, a secure, cross-platform solution is critical in optimizing the medical provider’s speed and agility.

Among other things, CUBE connects the voice workload capabilities of Cisco Call Manager with the Microsoft Teams user interface through Microsoft’s Direct Routing. By combining these services, companies who have Cisco Call Manager in place and a Microsoft Office 365 deployment can enjoy the best of both worlds.
