SUMMARY:An IMCCA Thanksgiving Webinar: The Future Of Work – Collaboration’s New Best Practices
DESCRIPTION:Topic \nAn IMCCA Thanksgiving Webinar: The Future Of Work – Collaboration’s New Best Practices\n\n\nDescription \n\nAs should be no surprise to anyone\, the fall IMCCA event will again be virtual because of COVID-19. We had hoped to have an in-person event by this time\, but the Delta variant has made that unwise. It is our second year of being forced to take our typically in-person fall event into a virtual format\, and this in and of itself raises an important point. Perhaps COVID-19 (and potentially other viruses and variants) will never completely go away. Perhaps\, instead of a pandemic\, these will become endemic – a condition we will always have to live with and be protected against via vaccines and other safety measures. \nIf this is the case\, it means our industry will need to stop looking at our reactions as temporary safety measures and redefine our approach to interpersonal collaboration on a permanent basis. Instead of waiting for a return to “normal” we believe it is time to redefine what normal is. \nThis webcast will begin the process to define what needs to be Collaboration’s New Best Practices. We will have expert presentations and discussions on Hybrid Working & Learning\, Enterprise Office Design\, Home Office Design and much more. \nFor more details\, go to CollaborationWeek.org

SUMMARY:Walk to Defeat ALS - Jersey Shore Walk
DESCRIPTION:OUR STORY\n\n\n\nEvent:\nJersey Shore Walk\n\n\nDate:\nSaturday\, October 9\, 2021\n\n\nTeam:\nTeam Yorktel\n\n\n\n\nThis is our fourth year walking in honor of our beloved Lilly Wang and for all those who can no longer walk for themselves. Together we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS. Our team is committed to raising money to support people in our community with ALS and spread awareness of the urgency to find treatment and a cure. Please consider joining our team in the Walk to Defeat ALS® or choose a team member from the list and donate to our cause. \nDonate here towards the cause\, today! \n\nWhy We Need Your Help \nAmyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive\, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk\, speak\, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. \nEvery 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial\, ethnic\, or socioeconomic boundaries. \nALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease\, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250\,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!

SUMMARY:IMCCA Collaboration Week: A Whole New World Webcast
DESCRIPTION:A Whole New World.  (Picture Aladdin and the flying carpet.  Have we successfully planted the earworm yet?)  Having experienced the worst health pandemic in a century\, organizations have come around to learning that everything we’ve been saying about collaboration all along was true.  You can be more productive working remotely\, you can set-up offices to support Hybrid Working\, and you can experience remote meetings that are better than being there.  It’s sad that it took a deadly pandemic to get there\, but now that we’ve arrived the genie is never going back into the lamp. \n The IMCCA will hold a Collaboration Week: A Whole New World webcast – in lieu of the originally planned UC Week New York – which will include three discussions by industry experts offering insights into what this new world will be like.  Part one will be how we got here and what the data shows that organizations are doing.  Part two will be all about the “new office” – a space where group work and collaboration is the predominant activity\, and the majority of desks\, offices and workstations are for people who have dropped-by to participate in that group work.  Part three will be a detailed analysis of the new home office for the full time or part time remote worker – Hybrid Working.  What will go into the technology and set-up to make that experience successful. \nTo register\,  click here.

SUMMARY:Daytona Road Course - NASCAR No. 1 & No. 42 Sponsorship
DESCRIPTION:Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced a partnership renewal with Yorktel and Caregility. Both companies are owned by YTC Holdings. \nQUOTEBOARD: \n\nRoss Chastain\, Driver No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE: “I’m looking forward to working with Yorktel and Caregility this season. It is always a positive to be able to expand the relationship with our partners. I know that they were excited about getting involved with our team and Kurt Busch during the NASCAR Playoffs last season\, and I’m excited about working with them to continue growth through the partnership.”\nKurt Busch\, Driver No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE: “I look forward to continuing the partnership with Yorktel and Caregility in 2021. I enjoyed having the opportunity to virtually meet several healthcare workers last season\, that they recognized\, for their efforts during the onset of the pandemic. It is a pleasure to continue the partnership that began last season.”\nRon Gaboury\, CEO\, Yorktel & Caregility: “Our experience in working with Chip Ganassi Racing last year was extremely positive.  The partnership allowed us to increase brand awareness for both organizations as well as provide a vehicle to thank some of the front-line workers that have been battling the pandemic for almost a year now.  I’m looking forward to a winning season with CGR in 2021.”
