Job Summary
Audio Video Production Technician
York Telecom provides Federal and Fortune 500 enterprise clients globally with the latest in video and media services and solutions such as videoconferencing, distance learning, broadcast production, post production, digital media and visual collaboration. We currently have an opening in the Washington, DC area for an Audio Video Production Technician. This position will provide video production, event management and audiovisual support to high level officials within the Government. Qualified candidates must be proficient with a wide range of technologies related to video production, streaming media, videoconferencing and audiovisual operations support.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements
· Produce live television broadcasts of high-level events and press briefings
· Operate video production switcher and camera robotics during broadcasts
· Operate audio mixing board during live broadcasts and large events
· Nonlinear video editing and post production using Final Cut Pro
· Streaming media encoding, webcasting and digital asset management
· Setup, operation and support of a wide variety of audiovisual equipment
· Event management and production coordination
· 5+ years experience providing broadcast production and related media services
· Bachelors degree in broadcast production or related experience
· Ability to work and interact professionally with high level, high profile Federal officials and public figures
· Excellent communication skills
· Detail-oriented self starter, able to work independently with little supervision.
